Christian's Senior Portrait Sneak Peek...

Christian is a Senior at Harrison High. He's played tennis for the past 7 years. But he REALLY wanted to be photographed with his Honda. So we just pulled it right up, and even got a different background for one...(check out the train!)
We also hit a couple of spots around downtown Acworth. This gave Christian quite a bit of variety to choose from. We had a great time with this session. Thanks, Christian, for letting us get to know you a little better.

Keith's Senior Portrait Sneak Peek...

Keith has been coming into our studio for portraits since he was 7 years old. So when he called to say he was ready for his Senior Portraits, we could hardly believe it!
Keith is a Senior at Walton High and is a linebacker for the football team. He's been playing football since the 7th grade, so he really knows his stuff. He brought in his letter jacket for a few poses. We love it when our Seniors bring something in that means a lot to them. It makes their portraits really say something about them...
that's the Senior Experience they deserve.
We had a blast, Keith! Thanks and have a great Senior year!

Nick's Senior Portrait Sneak Peek...

Nick is a Senior and plays soccer for the Harrison Hoyas. He brought along some of his soccer gear for the portrait session. When Nick came in for his pre-plan session, we found that he really loves to kyack and likes the outdoors and camping. So we talked him into bringing along his kyack and went to the lake. Nick found a good spot to hop into the boat and off he went. It was a gorgeous day and, much to our surprise, wasn't that hot for 12 noon! We got some great angles for some really unique poses.
This was the perfect example of our way to photograph Seniors...
like we say, "It's all about YOU!"
Thanks to Nick for really stepping out of the box to make this his Senior Portrait Experience.

Tess's Senior Portrait Sneak Peek...

It was pouring rain the day Tess came in for her Senior Portaits...and I do mean pouring!! We were actually thinking we'd have to reschedule a different day for her outdoor poses. So we went ahead with her studio session. She absolutely LOVES to shop, so Tess brought in a "few" shopping bags. We really had fun with those. As the session went on we kept an eye on the weather outside... and the rain was slowing down a bit.
We took advantage of that and went out on our screened in porch. The lighting was beautiful!! Then we had an idea...Tess was such a sport and had the perfect dress for our navy blue umberella. We just went out in the sprinkling rain!! Check it out...who says you can't take portraits in the rain?!
Thanks Tess, we had a blast! And best of luck at Harrison this year!

Connor's Senior Portrait Sneak Peek...

We had a blast with Connor's session! He's a Senior at Harrison High and just got back from a well deserved beach trip. He loves the beach...and the lake, so we went over to Acworth Beach for some fun poses with his surfboard on the sand. Then we headed a few hundred yards away for a totally different look beside the lake. (We just LOVE the look of the dock, Connor!)
If Connor looks familiar, you might have recognized him on the August cover of
Our Town Magazine. He and a few friends got together at the lake for the cover pose.
His friend, Cameron, came by to help us out at Lake Acworth...we photographed his Senior Portrait in June. Connor was a real sport that day with all the changes of clothing...especially at the lake. Thanks, Connor, for letting us get to know you a little better!

Anna's Senior Portrait Sneak Peek...

Anna is an upcoming Senior at Dominion Christian High. She wanted to do some fun things "around Acworth", so we headed downtown...just a few blocks away. We hit a few shops on Main Street, along with Fusco's Via Roma restaurant...a perfect match to her outfit!
Anna also brought along her dog, Lilly, who was not crazy about being kept still on someone's lap, but she did great. And what a sweety! Lilly was a real trooper...
We also did a few poses of Anna with the traditional drape...even though our poses are not used for the yearbook, we can still create a beautiful formal portrait for your home.
Anna was so much fun and had so many great outfits...we had a blast sharing your Senior Experience!

Deja's Senior Portrait Sneak Peek...

Deja is an upcoming Senior at Harrison High. She is a cheerleader, runs track and loves listening to music... especially JT!!
Deja wanted to do some fun poses at Acworth Beach, so we headed over there early in the morning before the sun got too hot and the beach got too crowded. After that we headed back over to the studio for a change of outfits. Deja brought in her favorite CD for us to crank up...JT of course! During her pre-plan session, Deja found a photo in a magazine that she really liked of a girl listening to some tunes with headphones. So we got her to bring in some of her own for a few poses... we just recreated the same look.
That's what we like about our pre-plan sessions...we get to find out exactly what you like and what you're really into and incorporate that into your Senior Portraits.
It's like we always say... ANYONE can take photographs of you. But WE want to photograph who you REALLY ARE!
Thanks, Deja...we had a blast!

Jordan's Senior Portrait Sneak Peek...

Jordan is an upcoming Senior at Harrison High. He LOVES to go fishing and is very fortunate to have a pond right in his own backyard!! So we met him there one morning to see if the fish were biting...you'll have to ask Jordan what kind of fish he reeled in!
We were also able to get a few portraits of him with his Jeep. Then off to the studio we went to put on a CD with some great music and capture some fun poses indoors and outside.
We love for Seniors to bring in their own CD with their favorite music so we can "crank it up" in the camera room...that just makes it even more fun listening to their own music during the session.
Thanks, Jordan, for being such a great sport and making it such a fun morning!

Heather's Senior Portrait Sneak Peek

Heather is an upcoming Senior at Hillgrove High School. She runs cross country and has played tennis since she was 10 years old. She has such a cute personality...and we found out that she's very ticklish! Heather brought in a wonderful variety of outfits that we were able to capture. This gives her plenty of poses to choose from...even with just an hour session!
Thanks, Heather, for being so much fun and letting us be a part of your Senior Experience!

Cameron's Senior Portrait Sneak Peek...

We had such a blast with Cameron's session! When we met for his pre-planning consultation, we found out all about what he really likes and decided to start the session at the Lake. Cameron absolutely loves hanging out there, so we went over to Acworth Beach for some fun poses he saw in a magazine...we just recreated them! (Check out his wet hair!)
His puppy, Marley, came along and we found out that she LOVES to chase ducks into the lake!
We then went back to the studio for more portraits inside and outside. Cameron plays lacrosse for the Harrison Hoyas, and he's a drummer. His sister, Kate, was a great help throughout the session so we decided to get the two of them together.
Cameron has such a great personality and we had so much fun that morning. Thanks, Cameron, for giving us the chance to get to know you a little better!

Erin's Senior Portrait Sneak Peek...

Erin is an upcoming senior and soccer player at Harrison High. She's played soccer since she was in kindergarten and actually brought along the soccer ball she played with "way back when".
We started the session early in the morning, so we took advantage of the cooler temps and headed just a block away to downtown Acworth for some really fun backgrounds. (You might recognize the outside dining area of Fusco's Via Roma on Main Street http://www.fuscosviaroma.com)
Erin changed outfits and we found some other cool places just down the street.
We then came back to the studio for a few clothing changes and photos indoors & outside.
Erin's mom & dad came along and helped out quite a bit...Erin's dad has been the soccer photographer for years!
We had a great time Erin...thanks for letting us be a part of your Senior Experience!

Michael's Senior Portrait Sneak Peek...

Michael is a Senior lacrosse player at Kell High School. He had a few bumps and scrapes the day he came in for his session, but that didn't bother him at all. In our pre-plan session, we found out that he & his Mom wanted some of his portraits taken with a little "afternoon shadow" and other portraits taken with a clean-shaven face. Sooooo...we just told him to bring his shaving kit WITH him!! That's right! We took all the poses we needed with his "fuzz face" and then he removed the stubble to have a clean look for the rest of the session.
But the most fun was going on location to photograph Michael with his Honda! And his girlfriend, Liz, helped us out with all the great smiles.
Thanks Michael, for giving us such a fun session.

Rebecca's Senior Portrait Sneak Peek

Rebecca is a Senior at Kennesaw Mountain High and is VERY busy...
she's been a tennis player for about 9 years, has played the violin for 6 years and played the piano for "forever"! We wanted to incorporate all of these into her Senior Portrait session. We were able to visit her home and photograph Rebecca with her piano and also with her dog, Sophie (such a cutie!). Then we came back to the studio where she changed outfits and had photographs taken inside. She really liked the barn (seems ALL of our Seniors do) and we got some fun poses there also. Rebecca's Mom came along and helped out quite a bit...Thanks Mrs. Johnson! (Mom has become quite a pro at this...we photographed her older daughter's Senior portraits 3 years ago.)
Thanks Rebecca, for letting us be a part of your senior portrait experience...it was a blast!
